Here at Zeus PR, we are always keen to immerse ourselves in client projects. We recently had a wonderful time supporting the launch of our fragrance-led lifestyle client Fabulosa’s latest Pantomime-themed product launch.

Our client was keen to propel the launch of its new Pantomime-themed range with a flow of engaging weekly reels, and what better way to capture Fabulosa’s audience than with its’ very own Pantomime Dame!

Local Dame, Annie Fanny was immediately hired to delight fans with light-hearted comedy, taking a trip to Poundland to produce a series of hilarious content pieces.

Customers and staff members were roaring with laughter as the day rolled on, and with a sprinkle of Dame Annie Fanny’s charm, were even happy to get involved with trending TikToks & Reels – we nominate Dame Annie Fanny as employee of the day!

Our involvement branched throughout the entirety of the process – from liaising with the client, retailer & actor to arrange the content shoot in-store, to supporting with filming on the day, and even making our debut appearance in content whilst sporting the Poundland uniform! The glamorous life of PR!

As a brand that loves to push boundaries, the Poundland takeover proved a huge success with the retailer, with Poundland’s Senior Buyer even applauding the launch’s success via LinkedIn.

Generating further exposure for the launch, our social support was layered with tailored press outreach, resulting in online coverage across all three of The Sun’s online platforms (UK, Ireland & Scotland), with an entire article dedicated to showcasing the range.

Our press outreach emphasized the collection being exclusive to Poundland, and with Fabulosa always being keen to strengthen relationships with retailers, it was exciting to see an image of the Poundland shopfront used in the article.

The article relayed key information to entice customers to purchase, including fragrance notes, products the collection is available in, and price info.

Overall, the Pantomime-themed product launch proved extremely successful, with fans flocking to stores in hopes of finding their very own Prince Charming, Fairy Godmother & Happily Ever After.
