Generating Exposure and Driving Consumer Purchase for Food and Drink Brands

As food and drink PR specialists, we manage content-rich, reputation-building campaigns for a range of brands, from large food and drink manufacturers to much smaller brands.

We layer big campaigns and PR launches with general product placement throughout the year, recipe coverage to promote extended usage, editorial promotions for additional exposure, and inclusion in relevant trade features for visibility amongst industry press. This means our clients benefit from a packed PR programme all year round and their products are in front of the right audience at the right time.

With a total reach of 859,383,973 and an equivalent ad value of over £170,000 generated from our work with one client alone, 2024 was a huge year of editorial coverage for our food and drink clients!

Key Highlights

We have thoroughly enjoyed supporting our longstanding hot beverage client Horlicks with several major PR campaigns during the last 12 months. Exciting milestones include unveiling the brand’s new on-pack promotion with Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place app, announcing Horlicks’ long-awaited TV comeback via AdSmart from Sky, and managing the press launch for ‘Horlicks Kids, Chocoland’, which represented its first foray into the young family market. With a regular flow of strong PR coverage in national newspapers, consumer magazines and high-ranking online news platforms every month, hundreds of journalists have been liaised with and tremendous exposure for the household favourite hot beverage has been secured.

Another 2024 project we enjoyed getting stuck into was launching Drink me Chai’s brand-new Drink me Chai Matcha Latte. Reaching hundreds of thousands of eyes and driving footfall to Tesco stores to purchase, high-netting national PR coverage has been achieved for the launch of the new en-vogue beverage in the Daily Express, the Daily Mirror, the Daily Star and Closer magazine – to name a few!

We were also appointed to support market-leading food and beverage company, Aimia Foods, with the launch of Isovibe, a range of fun and fruity Clear Whey Protein powders. Alongside extensive media coverage in health and fitness magazines and national newspapers (such as Women’s Health, Women’s Fitness and The Sun on Sunday), the Zeus PR team negotiated several high-profile interviews for the launch with Isovibe’s celebrity brand ambassador, Malin Andersson, with the MailOnline, Closer and Heat.

Brand Partnerships

Our team has brought huge value to our food and drink clients through several quality brand partnerships in 2024 too. Collaborations have been negotiated with a luxury spa brand, a well-known British family bedding business, an iconic home appliance brand and lots, lots more. Creative social content to bring the partnerships to life has been filmed and edited in-house, social followings have been boosted significantly and engagement has been heightened.

We’re not an agency to rest on our laurels. After another fantastic year supporting our valued food and drink clients, we’re excited to create further stand-out PR campaigns in 2025.
